About Me

Hi, I’m Richard, a dedicated 1 to 1 maths and physics tutor with over 12 years of experience. What started as a temporary role quickly became a full time job as I discovered the  satisfaction of helping students reach their potential in these challenging subjects.

My Background

I hold a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Kent, where I graduated in 2011. My foundation in engineering and inate curiosity equipped me with an understanding of mathematical and physical principles, which I enjoy sharing with my students.

Teaching Philosophy

I believe in tailoring my approach to meet the unique needs of each student. For those who can grasp complex concepts, I focus on helping them achieve a deep understanding of the material. For others who may find the subjects more challenging, I provide practical techniques and strategies to help them pass their exams successfully. My ultimate goal is to make maths and physics accessible for everyone and enjoyable where possible.

Courses and Specializations

While I tutor students from Year 7 to Year 13, I particularly enjoy teaching A-Level material. This has led me to set up a company focused on delivering comprehensive A Level courses in maths.
