Richard is highly competent, a good communicator and entirely reliable. He has engaged my teenager very well, initially with maths and more recently with a flexible combination of maths and physics depending on her needs at the time.

Richard is an excellent tutor: hard-working, friendly, and professional. We gave him a tough case: our son was not interested in putting in the hard graft that you need to succeed in maths, but Richard certainly enabled him to learn better and achieve a successful outcome. Richard is a reliable, professional, supportive tutor for our daughter. He originally tutored her for her GCSE Further Maths, and we decided to continue his sessions to work on her A Level Physics, as she needs top grades to pursue her chosen career path. Richard used to come to our house, but was quick to adapt to online lessons, during the Covid pandemic. Richard's online lessons are great, flexible and our daughter learns a lot from them. Richard has always been extremely helpful if we have requested any changes to times etc and I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone, for online or in person lessons.

Richard is a fabulous tutor. He is easy to get on with, tailors his sessions in ways that his student can understand and is very approachable, making it easy for the student to ask questions. He is very professional, punctual and had a great rapport with my daughter. He also had confidence in her abilities which, in turn, gave her confidence in herself. We had tried several tutors before Richard but it was apparent from the first lesson that he was the perfect tutor for my daughter. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him for maths and physics tuition. He tutored my daughter in both at A level standard.

Richard tutored my son for GCSE Physics. My son failed his Year 10 end of year test but managed to get an 8 for his GCSE after being tutored by Richard.
